A Grain Silo

Made for G Scale train enthusiasts, these were supposed to be custom jobs, but soon became available to the public for sale as kits. No longer in stock, yet can be made as a special order. Switching scales is not usually a problem as I have made the Elevator 4 inches (120cm) high, and also others at half that size.

I have found that better materials such as aircraft plywood, cost more initially, but are better than cheap material, such as door skin because details show up in it, and it is stronger in the end, so parts can be thinner. It also lies flat on the laser bed, producing a finer cut.
